Jarek Olszak, P.E.
Team Leader | Sales Engineering | Professional Engineer
Jarek is grateful for the opportunities to meet many interesting people and visit different foundries and casting facilities. Each person he meets contributes something new to his experience and his learning. He has lived in Trussville for over 20 years, where he and his wife raised their two active daughters. In his free time, Jarek enjoys biking - from long road rides to challenging trails. He finds it peaceful to be on a long night ride, following the light and focusing on the trail ahead. After 25 years, Jarek finds himself newly challenged by returning to school to pursue his long term goal of attaining his MBA. So, that still leaves one unanswered question, "how the heck do you pronounce his name?" Here's your hint: just think of the 'J' as a 'Y' and try it again.

Patti enjoys creating personal connections. Whether it is through supporting our team or serving our customers, she is always looking for a way to help. She builds relationships in the industry through AFS, where she currently serves as the national chair for Women in Metalcasting. Married to her college sweetheart, they are blessed to have raised two amazing kids - a daughter and son. She enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, reading, weekend trips with her husband and escaping to the beach when she can. Something most folks wouldn't know is her love of Halloween. Many trick or treaters are afraid to come to her spooky porch, and those who dare will take a step back when she answers the door as her favorite ugly witch, Hagalena Magalena Hootenstally Walkendally Hogan Logan Bogan.

Andrew finds it appealing that, in over 20 years with ReichCompanies, never does he have the same day twice. Every day brings a new set of challenges and possibilities which keeps life on the job very interesting. Andrew, with his wife, has a son, a step son and a step daughter - all college students. As you can imagine, they keep him very active and consume all of his time away from work. Andrew started playing drums in sixth grade and continued on to become drum corps captain and co-captain throughout high school. He loved the competitions and playing in the state honor band. These days, he spends his spare time tracking down his kids, hiking, hunting and fishing. The family spends as much time as possible in the Smoky Mountains or at the hunting club. Each year, he and his dad hike Mt. LeConte in Tennessee (Great Smoky Mountains National Park) and spend at least one night at the top at 6593 feet. They refer to this as their yearly gauging of age!
Team Leader | Accounting & Financial Services
Sherrie is celebrating her 22nd year with ReichCompanies. Her job in financial services can be a tough one at times, but her "family" of co-workers makes even the roughest days at work a pleasure. She enjoys all aspects of her position and the rewards it brings daily. Sherrie and her husband have raised two magnificent girls, who are grown and on their own now. She is proud to say they are both honest, caring and faithful to God. Both are building their careers, one as a hair stylist and the other with one of the largest health care organizations in Birmingham. When she isn't playing with her grandson, Sherrie has a passion for gardening and birdwatching. She looks forward to spring when she can see all the wonderful things she planted the previous year pop up out of the ground. Spending time in the yard identifying new birds that come to eat, or bathe in her pond, is one of her favorite pastimes. She says the birds singing is music to her ears.

Jock says his most enjoyable duties are interacting with the machine operators, assisting customers, troubleshooting and repairing the machines when an issue arises. His degree from ITT Technical Institute has eased his learning curve into technical support on the Laempe machines. When not at work, he enjoys playing sports, being outdoors and spending time with his family - especially his wife and son. Not many people know, but they sure will now, that he is a Cambodian immigrant born into a Thailand refugee camp who came to the US around the age of 18 months. He was fortunate to be sponsored by several churches from our community.

Josh believes the best part of working at ReichCompanies is the family atmosphere that is so prevalent throughout the office. As for his specific position, the thought of tracking hundreds of part numbers might be daunting for some, but Josh has always enjoyed working with numbers which comes as second nature. He welcomes a challenge in his professional life as well as his personal life. Spending his evenings and weekends coaching youth wrestling can certainly pose a challenge, but it is one that is close to his heart. When he does get a moment to himself, Josh can be found taking a ride on his Harley.

Christopher appreciates that he works with a team in the true sense of the word. Especially when it's cleanup time and they team up to get it done at the end of day. Then he heads home to his fiance, son and daughter who keep them quite busy. In his free time, Christopher enjoys basketball and playing video games - just wait til his son is old enough to get those away from him! He keeps in shape by lifting weights and nurtures his creative side by writing lyrics and rhymes to a hip hop beat.
