LAEMPE | MOSSNER
LaempeReich is the North American Partner of Laempe Mossner of Germany.
1980 - Foundation of Laempe
Hans-Joachim Laempe founded Laempe GmbH - a company that initially automated core shooters for Röperwerk customers - in Schopfheim but soon began producing his own Laempe core shooters.
1994 - New feature at fair: The "white foundry"
Laempe took part in the world's largest and most important casting fair - GIFA in Germany - for the third time. With the launch of the "white foundry", Laempe brought a new mindset to the market, since even at this time the company was striving to achieve sustainable, resource-saving production. Solutions for the unloading of core shooters and for core handling with robots were also presented at the fair.
1996 - Fully automatic core package line
Laempe realized a fully automatic core package line for engine blocks for Ford Windsor Aluminium Plant (WAP, now Nemak). It consisted of 40 core shooters, 2 assembly lines, and 60 robots.
1997 - Meitzendorf plant
Laempe invested over 10 million euros in this new, top-technology production plant. In the countryside near Meitzendorf (near Magdeburg), a 15,000m production facility was built incorporating state-of-the-art production methods. Thanks to innovative concepts and integral solutions, we were able to establish our company as a market leader.
